ACROBOND® Industrial Adhesives
ACROBOND industrial adhesives meet the most varied assembly requirements, whether involving high mechanical strength, thermally or chemically aggressive environments, or the need for speed and simplicity of application. They offer reliable and durable solutions across a wide range of materials: metals, composites, technical plastics (PP, PVC, PE...), textiles, wood, foams, or coatings.
Typical Applications
- Structural Bonding: Sandwich panels, composites, and metal parts subjected to continuous stress or vibrations.
- Multi-material Assembly: Effective even in environments with variable temperatures or saline atmospheres.
- Rapid Bonding: For soft materials, heat-sensitive substrates, or applications requiring a clean finish.
- Lamination & Surface Applications: Textile, wood, technical leather, and furnishing.
- Automated Integration: In-line processes requiring regular, fast, and controlled dispensing.
Covered Technologies
- Structural & Robust: Two-component Polyurethanes, Methacrylates, Epoxies, and PUR Hot-melts for versatile structural assemblies.
- Surface, Flexible & Fast: Water-based dispersions, Solvent-based adhesives (Polychloroprene, Nitrile, SBR, PU), and Thermoplastic Hot-melts (EVA or APAO).
- Versatile Formats: Solutions in aerosol or bulk adapted for implementation in the workshop, on construction sites, or in automated production.
Thanks to their proven performance and multi-substrate compatibility, ACROBOND adhesives allow for the realisation of both demanding technical bonds and practical, rapid applications, ensuring durability, safety, and consistency.
A Range Adapted to Your Industrial Constraints
ACROBOND formulations are designed to meet the real-world application conditions encountered by your teams. Certain references are fire-retardant, non-combustible, or compliant with food safety regulations. Others are formulated without solvents or CMR components to reduce risks in the workshop or on-site. Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available.
Our recommendations integrate REACH requirements, particularly regarding polyurethane adhesives containing diisocyanates. We also offer isocyanate-free alternatives where relevant.
Our products are tested in the laboratory, validated on your specific substrates, and available rapidly in cartridges, bottles, or industrial bulk formats.
You Might Need: Adhesive Technologies Defined
| Type | Description |
| Pre-polymer Adhesive | Reactive adhesives (often PU) that are partially polymerised and cure with moisture or an activator. Excellent multi-substrate adhesion, including on low-polarity substrates. |
| Two-Component PUR Adhesive | Two-component polyurethanes for structural assemblies of composites, metals, and technical plastics. High mechanical resistance, thermal shock resistance, and absorption of internal deformations. |
| Solvent-Based Adhesive | Organic bases (polychloroprene, nitrile, SBR, PU) in volatile solvent. After evaporation, forms a flexible and resistant adhesive film. Recommended for full-surface bonding (leather, wood, technical textiles, certain plastics). |
| Water-Based Adhesive | Water-based formulations (dispersions, latex, silicates), a solvent-free alternative for wood, fibreboard, cardboard, and fabrics. Setting occurs through water evaporation. |
| Cyanoacrylate Adhesive | Single-component adhesives with ultra-fast polymerisation activated by moisture. Instant bonding of small parts on rigid or smooth substrates (metal, glass, ceramics, certain plastics). Adapted for precision assemblies in controlled environments. |
| Single and Two-Component Epoxy | Excellent compromise between mechanical resistance, chemical adhesion, and long-term durability. Two-component versions are suitable for structural assemblies; single-component thermosetting versions are common in electronics (heat curing). |
| Methacrylate Adhesive | Two-component adhesives highly effective on technical plastics, composites, and low surface energy materials (PE, PP, certain thermoplastics). Fast setting, high strength with residual flexibility. |
| Hot-Melt Adhesive | Adhesives applied hot which solidify upon cooling. Fast and clean implementation, solvent-free, high yield in automated production (packaging, textile or plastic components). Immediate holding power adapted to high-speed lines. |
| Adhesion Promoter / Primer | Surface preparation products applied before the adhesive to improve chemical compatibility. Indispensable on low-polarity substrates, closed surfaces, or incompatible finishes. They optimise bond durability and prevent delamination. |
